It's Paradiso weekend at The Gorge Amphitheater and thousands will be descending on the concert site. We've shared some safety tips to keep you safe in the heat and fun -- and so you don't end up featured on the Sunday evening news!

Our friends at the Grant County Sheriff's Department compiled this list to keep concert goers safe. Follow these simple 12 rules and your experience (hopefully) will be a great one.

If you need help, contact security or a sheriff’s deputy or call 9-1-1. The sheriff's substation is in the campground near the entrance.

Safety Tip 1 – Go in a group and within that group have a “Paradiso Pal” who always has your back.

Safety Tip 2 - Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water. Don’t wait until you feel sick or thirsty.

Safety Tip 3 - Watch out for the safety of other people in the crowd even if they aren’t your “Paradiso Pal”.

Safety Tip 4 - Prepare an “exit strategy” and have a plan for what to do if there is an emergency.

Safety Tip 5 - Be aware of men looking for “vulnerable” women. Tell security if you see those behaviors.

Safety Tip 6 - Don’t take drinks or drugs from strangers. Better yet, don’t do drugs at all.

Safety Tip 7 - Lock valuables in your car trunk. Don’t leave things visible through the windows or in your tent.

Safety Tip 8 – Feeling sick or do you see someone who is? Contact security, EMTs or go to the medical tent.

Safety Tip 9 – See something or someone suspicious? Contact security or sheriff’s deputies.

Safety Tip 10 – All front seat belts must be used prior to riding in bed of trucks.

Safety Tip 11 – If you ride in the bed of a truck, you need to be fully seated in the bed.

Safety Tip 12 – Make Good Choices.
