Operation Cash For Candy Hits Tri-Cities! [VIDEO]
How many pounds of halloween candy did your kids get at Halloween? Well are they really gonna eat it all? Here's a chance to turn that cavity causing, betty bustin' hyperactin' candy into something good!
"Operation Cash-For-Candy" is a new organization in the Tri-Cities that “buys” back leftover Halloween candy and sends it to troops overseas.
Children and parents also will have the opportunity to sign cards for the troops.
Candy will be bought back for $1 per pound. By donating, children also will be registered to win a Toys R Us gift card, an iPod and other prizes.
Candy can be dropped off at various health care locations in the Tri-Cities. For a list of drop-off locations, visit operationcashforcandy.com
