Lighted Boat Parade this Friday & Saturday!

The 2011 Lighted Boat Parade happens on the Columbia River this Friday and Saturday.   The parade route begins  at 6pm at Colver Island in Kennewick and cruises across the Columbia to Howard Amon Park in Richland (arriving around 7pm).  The decorated boats will then turnaround and reverse the route back to Clover Island.

My experience shows the best viewing areas are Columbia park or the turnaround at Howard Amon.

It will be cold both Friday and Saturday night, so bundle up and bring something warm to drink!
