I-84 Westbound Remains Closed

From ODOT 12/6/16 as of 4:30pm, I-84 WESTBOUND remains closed due to winter conditions and dense fog on Cabbage Hill (MP 216-220). The WESTBOUND lanes are closed to TRUCKS between Ontario at Exit 374 and Pendleton at Exit 216, and closed to passenger vehicles between Baker City at Exit 302 and Pendleton at Exit 216. The extended closure for trucks is due to no safe truck storage/parking in Baker City and La Grande. The EASTBOUND freeway is currently open, however motorists can expect winter conditions on the route, plus dense fog ascending Cabbage Hill between MP 216 and 220. Travelers are advised to check TripCheck.com for update conditions. If using detour routes, stay on main highways if possible. Use caution if following GPS navigation that may lead to remote roads not serviced in wintertime.
