Neighbors helping neighbors! We have such an incredible community and if there is ever someone in need, the Tri-cities definitely rallies around them! This is an example of what a great small business community we have!  Annelee Giese, owner of Rise and Shine Bakery has created a fundraiser called "Cookies for a Cause."

Rise and Shine Bakery is in full swing baking cookies for a cause and stated that:

All proceeds will go directly to the fund in place through downtown Kennewick partnership for those displaced by the Cascade Building fire that took place on February 4th.

It is a win-win situation for everyone! For just $20 you will receive a box of six large cookies, you have your choice of chocolate chip or snickerdoodle, OR half and half! You can go browse their Facebook page HERE or just click their direct link HERE and get your order in! Orders must be completed no later than Sunday, February 13th to insure they have enough time to bake all these fabulous cookies!

Pick up date will be February 19th at two locations and you will be able to choose the location. Pick up locations will be at Red Mountain Kitchen in Kennewick or Kaffrin's Coffee in Connell Washington. Maybe you want to pass on the cookies but still donate? Not to worry! They have an option on the order form to skip the treats and just donate. Thank you to all parties involved to help make this possible, I look forward to picking up my yummy treats and I hope you raise a whole "batch" of money!
