Hermiston Cops Now Have Cameras

This all started a month ago when the Hermiston Police Chief mandated that officers start wearing body cameras. Recently, the first batch of footage has been released to give the public an idea of exactly what they look like on camera. It doesn't show much, but the video from our local news station, KNDU, features a story explaining the cameras and showing a traffic stop. The video is here at
