Hear About Oregon’s Rotting Dead Cow Carcass Swimming Spot?

A very popular swimming reservoir in Oregon had its first visitors of the year and they were greeted by literally tons of floating dead rotten cow and animal carcasses. The  Owyhee Reservoir has now been cleaned of the 15 dead cows and other animals by ranchers who pulled them to shore and buried them according to news reports.

The die off happened at a popular feeding station for animals during the winter. The ranchers could not get in to feed them because of the deep snow and the animals starved.

I hope they looked before they jumped in! Ewwwwww!
