Drowning Bear Cub Rescue On The Kenai River In Alaska [VIDEO]

I saw this story and since I just spent a whole bunch of time with the bears in Ely Minnesota I had to share it. So the story goes like this. 3 guys salmon fishing on the Kenai River in Alaska hear a bear cub crying. They look down river and see this brown bear cub caught in a whirlpool in the river.

With a little ingenuity the 3 fishermen use their boat to get the bear cub out of the whirlpool and then safely to shore.

The bear's cries will pull at your heart strings but according the fishermen once the bear cub hit shore it was gone! Go little cub! Go!
