After a staff member who works at the Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton tested "presumptive positive" for the coronavirus (COVID-19) Umatilla Tribal officials opted to close the casino Monday as well as some other area facilities until they can be cleaned.

Officials released information saying the Casino will be fully sanitized, and will stay close until that is completed. It's expected to take a day or two, and the Casino will re open upon completion of that process.

Officials also closed the Nixyaawii Community School, Head Start, Daycare and Senior Center until their cleaning is finished as well.
