Early Wednesday morning, Walla Walla County Deputies confirmed the body of a man was pulled out of the Walla Walla River.

A report came in to authorities from a person who thought they saw the man floating in the water. Columbia Basin Dive Rescue helped extract the man, no information about him has been released. No word on when the report was called in, either.

He was found in an area of the river near Madame Dorian Memorial Park along Highway 12 near Burbank. The body has been taken to the coroner's office to begin ID process, no other information has yet been released, including how long he was believed to be in the river.
