Benton Franklin Health Reports 1st Area COVID-19 Death

An elderly woman who was a resident of a senior living community in Richland, has passed away over the weekend.

She was a resident of Bonaventure of Tri-Cities, a senior living community. She died over the weekend in an area hospital, but officials did not directly say it was because of the virus.

However, they did "attribute" her death to the issue. BFHD officials are working with various teams from the Washington State Department of Health, specifically the  Infection Control Assessment and Response (ICAR) team.
