For starters, you would need a truck with significant horsepower and torque to haul this thing.

 WHO STEALS A GIANT BOAT?

Pasco Police are seeking leads in the theft of a rather large boat, which 'vanished' from its storage area in the 2500 block of Road 80. It was likely stolen between 5 PM Oct. 16th (Sat) and 4 AM Sunday morning the 17th.

Police didn't say if the homeowners were gone, or even if the boat was stored at the owner's residence.

It's a 1988 Bayliner 2850 Ciera Sunbridge, Washington state registration (the number seen on the left and right front of the boat)  WN6031LE.

A check of boat statistics shows, according to the website boatspec.com, this not a small model. It's just over 27 feet long, ten feet wide, and weighs about 5755 pounds, or over a ton. It would require at least a large 1/2 ton pickup or larger to safely and adequately transport it.

We checked online and found a few for sale at various locations around the country. Due to the age of the model, most of the ones are valued at anywhere from $15 to 18,000 dollars, at least the ones we saw.

Can't possibly imagine what someone would do with it unless it's being taken out of state to be sold on the black market. Hey, stranger things have happened.  If you happen to see this monolith, call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
