A popular airline has taken a popular 80's song and turned it into a safety video for flying amid the Corona Virus pandemic.

While many airlines have incorporated pre-flight safety announcements, Alaska Airlines has parodied "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats.  [Watch below]

The video was shot in the airline's Boeing cabin trainer and the Alaska Maintenance Hangar in Seattle.

Employees of Alaska Airlines are in the video and were chosen for their willingness to dance. They learned the choreography at home and went through 8-hours of rehearsal the day before shooting the video, to make sure everyone knew the moves.

Alaska Airlines currently requires passengers to complete a health agreement before boarding any aircraft.

The music video was directed by Warren Fu, who's worked with Dua Lipa, Daft Punk, and The Weekend.

The video will begin airing on flights in January. The airline wants to give passengers the confidence to book flights and stay safe.
