There's a small town in Eastern Washington that can boast a sculpture by one of the planet's most famous artists.

The artist is Maya Lin -- the creator of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. The black wall with names on it. She came up with that idea when she was very young, and has created numerous structures around the world since then.

One of those is in Clarkston, Washington!

Chief Timothy Park in Clarkston (across the Idaho border from Lewiston) pays homage to a Nez Perce chief who was a friend to the US Cavalry and Oregon Trail travelers.

Maya Lin made a "listening circle" in that park! Go check it out!
