Why Is It Called Jump Off Joe? Anybody? Anybody? [SURVEY]

I'm kind of new to the area so when everyone was talking about Jump Off Joe being on fire last night my curiosity got the best of me. Why is it called "Jump Off Joe?" Nobody knows. Do you know?Greg thinks it might be named after Jump Off Joe in Newport, Oregon. That's as good of a guess as any.
