Where Are the Free & Safe Trick or Treat Events This Year?
There will be lots of places this year to bring the kids for free and safe trick-or-treating events. One of the more popular events is the drive-through Trunk or Treat. That will be Saturday, October 30th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gesa Stadium parking lot on Burden Boulevard in Pasco. Pre-registration is required at pascoparksandrec.com.
There will also be an event just like that on Halloween day from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Toyota Center in Kennewick. They are asking you to bring a canned good for candy to support Second Harvest.
Historic downtown Kennewick will be featuring a Halloween edition of their Alfresco Saturdays on October 30th from 3 to 5 p.m.. visit historickennewick.org for details.
Grace Point Church in Pasco is featuring a Fall Festival on October 31st from 3 to 6 pm, at 1915 North Road 84 in Pasco. Trick-or-treating will be included.
Various other churches and schools will be holding events also. Several of them are mentioned in the Facebook group All About Tri-Cities Washington.
Gesa Credit Union and the City of Pasco are sponsoring a free Halloweekend Cinema. The event will be on October 22nd at 8 p.m. and is free. Gates open at 6:30, pre-registration is required at pascoparksandrec.com. It will be in the Gesa Stadium parking lot on Burden Boulevard in Pasco, the featured movie will be The Nightmare Before Christmas.
