A national warrant has been issued for the arrest of convicted felon Jordan Anthony Gutierrez.
The 22-year-old is wanted for manslaughter, in connection to the March 7th, 2020 shooting death of 31-year-old Tara Owen.
Yakima Police responded to the incident on Folsom Avenue after receiving a report of shots fired. Upon arrival they found Owen suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Paramedics were unsuccessful in their efforts to resuscitate her.
Investigators believe Gutierrez shot Owens and took off in her vehicle.
Gutierrez is 5'7", weighing 240 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Gutierrez may be back in the Yakima area.
Police advise you to call 9-1-1 if you see Gutierrez or know of his whereabouts. Anonymous tips can be made to Yakima County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-248-9980. There's a reward of up to $1,000 if your tip help leads to the arrest of Jordan Anthony Gutierrez. You can also call Detective M. Lee at 509-575-3042.
