US Marshals and Adams County Deputies apprehended a wanted suspect this week in Othello, but his backround was what led to media exposure.

31-year-old Timothy Riggins, who was reportedly associated with the Nortenos gang, had been sought since last November. He was wanted on felony weapons charges, as well as being accused of carrying an explosive device, as well as armed robbery charges.

He was captured in Moses Lake last November, after he was found hiding inside a washing machine in a home. However, after being booked and released, he failed to show up for any of his hearings.

Officials say he was considered armed and dangerous, concerning the explosive device he reportedly had said he wanted to "go out with a bang"

However, after publishing an update Monday about him being sought, tips came in and led Marshals and Deputies to a home in Othello where he was apprehended without incident.

As for the washing machine, it HAD to be a front loader...just sayin.
