Martina McBride is launching a brand-new podcast. Called Vocal Point With Martina McBride, the podcast will feature McBride sitting down with "musicians, celebrity chefs, actors and anyone with a story to tell," per a press release. The show will welcome Garth Brooks as its first guest on the premiere episode, set to debut on Sept. 27, with Rosanne Cash, Dustin Lynch, Loretta Lynn, Howie Mandel and more celebrities set to appear in future episodes.
In 2020, Kenny Chesney will be honored with the Country Radio Broadcasters' Artist Humanitarian Award. In addition to being presented with the honor, in recognition of his post-hurricane relief work on the island of St. John and other charitable endeavors, Chesney will also be headlining the opening day luncheon at the 2020 Country Radio Seminar, scheduled for Feb. 19.
Luke Bryan will perform two shows for Opry Goes Pink, the Grand Ole Opry's annual breast cancer fundraiser. He'll be on hand at the event to "flip the switch" and light up the Opry's barn backdrop in a bright shade of pink, before performing an "intimate and rare acoustic set," according to a press release. Anita Cochran, Craig Morgan, the Oak Ridge Boys and Sara Evans will join Bryan for the shows, which are set for Oct. 22. Tickets for Opry Goes Pink are on sale now, and $5 from each ticket will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Singer-songwriter Erin Enderlin has announced an official street date for her new album Faulkner County. Set for release on Nov. 1, the 14-song project was produced by Jamey Johnson and Jim "Moose" Brown, and will feature guest performances from Cody Jinks, Terri Clark, Vince Gill and Alison Krauss. "I feel so lucky to be able to make records that I absolutely love, and to get to work with some of the most amazing writers, musicians, and of course producers of our time," Enderlin says in a statement. It's the kind of thing that makes me feels like all the years, and miles, and struggle have been worth it.” Fans can pre-order Faulkner County on all major digital platforms.
