It sounds pretty risky, but after googling "National Working Naked Day" I discovered it is actually not what you might think it is! It was brought to my attention this morning that today was a special day and that it was national working naked day. I was skeptical so I did what anyone would do and googled it! Come to find out, this day really does exist. It is celebrated on the first Friday of every February, so today, February third is work naked day!

However, it doesn't mean going to work in your birthday suit! It means working from home for the day! Which I think a lot of people have recently been able to experience after living through the pandemic. Before 2020 this was probably a lot bigger deal than it is in today's world.

Working naked day was founded by Lisa Kanare and she educates small businesses about all the benefits and aspects of working from home successfully. Lisa has written five books, one of those being "Working Naked: A guide to the bare essentials of home office life."

Maybe you can convince your boss to take part in this holiday, or if you are like me, bartending from home is just impossible! So I will GET DRESSED and head to work! But for those of you who can enjoy your work day from home, enjoy it and clothes are actually optional!

This Hike in the Columbia River Gorge is a Must Experience

The Labyrinth to Coyote Wall Loop. It runs 6.7 miles with an elevation gain of 1,489 feet. It features a waterfall, lava tube, rock formations, and incredible views. It’s heavily trafficked with hikers and mountain bikers on weekends and dogs are welcome on a leash. Beware, you’ll need good hiking shoes as a good portion of the trail is very rocky. It’s open all year round, but the experts recommend day use from March to November.
