Tim McGraw: The Lost Movie Rolls You’ve Never Seen [VIDEO]
Now that my wife and I are three episodes deep into the Yellowstone spin-off 1883, I thought we would look at Tim McGraw's acting career a little closer. Because let me tell you something, he isn't just your average singer-turned-actor. This guy is really good!
Most folks might remember Tim in his Friday Night Lights role. And then he played Sandra Bullock's husband in The Blind Side, another football movie. But according to Wikipedia, Tim McGraw's first acting appearance was back in 1997 on an episode of The Jeff Foxworthy Show!
It would be 7 years until Tim's next appearance, this time in a Rick Schroder movie called Black Cloud. That was followed by the Texas High School drama Friday Night Lights. Then in 2006, he was in Flicka, which was his first lead role.
The director of Friday Night Lights later placed him in a movie called The Kingdom where he played a bitter man whose wife was killed in a terrorist attack. That was followed by Four Christmases, The Blind Side, and I movie called Dirty Girl that also featured country star Dwight Yoakam. (I've loved every single role Dwight has played as well, especially in Sling Blade.) In 2010 Tim McGraw starred in Country Strong with Gwyneth Paltrow.
But these days Tim's all about 1883 (on Paramount +), featuring Faith Hill and Sam Elliott at his side. Watch below to see clips of some of Tim's performances you may have missed!
