The Rise and Fall of the Pendleton Cheese Bandit

I don't know if this next story is funny or sad. Why not both?

The Pendleton Cheese Bandit's reign of terror has come to an abrupt end. Early Sunday morning around 1 am, a man broke into a Pendleton home.

What did the man take? Well, nothing really...

He had some water to drink and ate some cheese. He admitted to the police that he had broken in to the house. Nothing was reported missing (other than cheese and water) and the man was charged with first-degree burglary and other various charges. His bail is currently set at $62,000. He was arrested without issue.

Has to make you ask yourself how much cheese is too much cheese?
