Thank You TJ Gaia For Your Service – Soldier of the Week

The Pasco Armory is a training site for a tank company in the Washington National Guard. Delta Company 1-161 is an Infantry Battalion in the 81st Brigade. It is composed a citizen soldiers -- men and women who are students, electricians, doctors and more when not on duty. Not long ago Delta Company was in Baghdad, Iraq. They are trained to fight tank warfare, but also perform other duties of infantry soldiers. If Eastern Washington experienced a wild fire, flood, volcano or an earthquake these men and women would be called on to rescue us.

102.7 KORD will profile a soldier every week to thank them for their service. We caught up with them recently at the Pasco Armory and asked about their civilian lives and hobbies.
