Taylor Swift has joined the stellar lineup of country superstars set to take the stage during the 2011 CMA Music Festival, which takes place June 9-12 at LP Field in Nashville. Swift will have the honor of closing out the four-day event with her Sunday night set.

“Taylor has been a strong supporter of CMA Music Festival since she burst on the national scene a few years ago, and we are thrilled to welcome her back,” says Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer, in a press release. “As we celebrate 40 years of CMA Music Festival, it is exciting to see Taylor and all our performers continue the legacy of Fan Fair which spotlights the unique relationship between Country Music artists and their fans.”

As previously reported, the 40th edition of the CMA Music Festival will also feature such top acts as Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and many others. ABC will be filming the performances for a television special set to air later in the summer.

Swift, meanwhile, recently garnered three nominations for the 2011 CMT Music Awards, which the cable network will broadcast on June 8. For more information about this year’s CMA Music Festival, check out their official site.
