Taking Pictures on Railroad Tracks is Against the Law!
Railroad tracks make cool back drops for senior pics and family photos. But don't let the cops see you doing it! Railroad tracks are private property and no trespassing signs are posted. Most railways have their own police, but also rely on local cops to keep an eye out. So basically, the act of taking the photo isn't illegal, but where you're taking it is, if you're on railroad property. Maybe you should just try to find a cool, old barn as a back drop. Check with the farmer, first. they always have shotguns.
