I found a new park this week. It’s in the south west corner of OLD Richland west of Fred Myer. It had a very nice climbing toy my kids were big fans of.
Goethals Park is on Goethals Street parallel with Wellsian Way near Fred Meyer in Richland. Because of it's location, it definitely feels more like a neighborhood park despite its size. And the size is impressive. It's basically three parks in one.
Across the street from Jason Lee Elementary School, Jason Lee Park had everything my 5-year-old son and I needed for a perfect a bonding time.
It has one small set of climbing toys for children, several beautiful evergreen trees, a very small batting fence for kick-ball games or non-serious batting practice, two or three benches and tables perfect for picnics and a wide open field...
Ok.....I have grand kids now and I love taking the kids to the park. You know things have changed alot since I was a kid and my mom & dad took me to the park. So let' s take a look at some of our favorite places to go play!
