Let's wake up once again with our friend Ed Dailey as KORD digs into the archives.

Every Sunday morning on KORD you can tune in to "Legends of Country," the hit show by local DJ legend Ed Dailey. Well now Ed Dailey is getting attention for another project: producing a record by some of the members of "Stompin' Ground."

Every year Ed Dailey, host of Legends of Country on Sunday mornings, helps raise money for the homeless with the "How It Feels to Need" benefit. This year he's enlisted Faith Martin to help, along with Stompin Ground. This is shaping up to be an awesome event for a great cause. Here's how to attend:

I have passed many cars on the side of the road over the years. I try not to pass folks anymore. I'm not looking for a pat on my back, I am just voicing the question of a lady I met Sunday: "What’s wrong in this country when people won’t help an old lady?"
