Someone is Decapitating Cats in a Portland Neighborhood

People in a south east neighborhood in Portland are on alert after multiple people finding cats killed and decapitated. One cat owner named Joelle found her family cat button killed not far from where they live according to news reports. She found Buttons without a head and with no blood anywhere around the body. She describes the as "creepy" because it was so clean in the area.

Joelle reported the incident to animal control and to her neighbors, and then they started to notice a pattern. Other people started finding dead cat corpses that have been cut up or gutted in some way. Another cat owner in the neighborhood said that he has never "seen more missing cat posters around the neighborhood" and fears for his own cats safety. Authorities are telling people to keep their cats inside until they find the person responsible.
