Sunday’s event at the Southridge Sports Complex in Kennewick was an awesome event! If you were there, you know how moving the whole experience was.

The City of Kennewick did an awesome job of putting the whole thing together.

Bill Lampson’s influence and instigation of bringing one of the steel girders from the Twin Towers at ground zero, was a remarkable thought. The work and dedication that went into seeing it through to fruition is so appreciated.

I took some video of the procession of the beam up as it was being transported up Hwy 395 check it out Our boss Paul Drake thought it would be neat to release 3,000 balloons into the air in honor of those who lost their lives on that tragic day.

Many volunteers helped us fill the balloons early in the morning before the final ceremony. And the release of those balloons was beautiful!

Thank you to all the listeners that helped us fill balloons. Thank you to Oxarc of Pasco who provided us with helium, Paper Factory who provided us with balloons, Yoke’s Fresh Market for the coffee and donuts and all of YOU who came out to witness such an amazing event.

We love that you came to support such a worthy event and to honor those who lost their lives on that dreadful day!

God Bless America:
