A man was injured on Wednesday after he crashed into an apple orchard.

The 37-year old man was driving the telehandler when the brakes failed. The crash occurred at a moderate speed into the apple orchard at about 12 noon, near Road 13-Southeast and Road B-Southeast (rural Royal City).

The man was treated on the scene by Royal Slope Fire-Rescue-EMS. He was transported by air ambulance to a Tri-Cities hospital.
