The sun is out and it is time to dust those bikes off to ride with reason! Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 6th, for the 3rd annual "F@ck Cancer Memorial Poker Run", in honor of Johnny Frase. This year's ride will benefit little Brody Saueressig, a Kennewick boy, who is just three years old. Brody has spent the last six months at the Children's Hospital in Seattle, fighting Leukemia and a little help could go a long way in this little guy's life!

The Local Teamsters are hosting a fundraiser and you are invited! There will be door prizes, a live auction, and live music! Registration starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Tin Hat in Kennewick. All vehicles are welcome, costing just $15.00 for single riders and $20.00 per couple. Sausage Dogs, with side dishes, will be available for dinner, and the price is $10.00 per person. Venmo, Square, and cash will be accepted for payment.

Kickstands are scheduled to go up at 12:00 p.m. from the Tin Hat and the final location (after-party) will be held at the American Legion, in Pasco. All the proceeds from this event will benefit Brody and his family, to help ease some of their financial burdens during this difficult time. For more information, you can call (509) 492-0206 or (509) 378-9195. Or you can visit their event on Facebook by clicking HERE. We hope for a beautiful day, a safe ride, and a spectacular turnout for little Brody!

Thank you to all involved, and a big thanks to the Local Teamsters for helping make this possible for this family! You make our community proud!

This Hike in the Columbia River Gorge is a Must Experience

The Labyrinth to Coyote Wall Loop. It runs 6.7 miles with an elevation gain of 1,489 feet. It features a waterfall, lava tube, rock formations, and incredible views. It’s heavily trafficked with hikers and mountain bikers on weekends and dogs are welcome on a leash. Beware, you’ll need good hiking shoes as a good portion of the trail is very rocky. It’s open all year round, but the experts recommend day use from March to November.
