The kids are chomping at the bit for some activities and so are parents so the City of Richland is having their annual Halloween Carnival albeit with social distancing for 2020!

Social Distancing and COVID-19 has played havoc on events and activities for everyone in 2020 and kids and parents alike are anxious to get out of the house for trick or treating this year.

The CDC is not recommending trick or treating for this year but the City of Richland is pivoting this year with some different activities that will be able to be done with social distancing.

Normally the Halloween Carnival has hayrides and mazes but this year they are mixing it up with several Halloween-themed events that include a drive-in movie.

The Halloween Carnival will feature swag-bags, much like the bags they did for the kids bored in a box this summer.

The City of Richland is still working out all the details on the Halloween Carnival along with the Health Department but you can keep track of the event and all of their updates here.
