Richland Police Investigating a Death by Strangulation

The Richland police are investigating how a person died by strangulation.

The body was found by family member in a basemen of a home  in the 600 block of Van Giesen Street.

Police were on the scene at about 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police did not say if it was suicide and no further information was released.
