Richland Police responded to a medical emergency on September 24th, after the parents brought the infant to a local emergency room. Police say the 5-week old infant boy was already deceased when the family arrived at the hospital.
Richland Police arrested Jose L. Rosas Olivo in the death of his son.
The infant suffered multiple injuries, including a skull fracture, multiple rib fractures, and a lacerated liver. The boy also had bleeding under the scalp.
After investigating, it was determined that Olivo was responsible for the injuries causing the boy's death.
Olivo was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail.
