Retailers to Charge 5 Cents Per Bag – Would You Pay? [POLL]

In the small town of Ellensberg, a new city ordinance has just been passed that requires retailers to charge an extra 5 cents per paper or plastic bag at the grocery store.

The new ordinance takes effect Jan. 1.

The argument is valid, we all want to do what is right for the environment, but is 5 cent a bag a little extreme?
