Ready Player One, the Best New Movie for Easter Weekend Fun

Reviews are in and people are blown away!

"Ready Play One" premiered last night and might quietly become the number one selling movie this weekend.

With all the press around all the big box office sequels coming out soon (Infinity War, Solo), you might note even heard about Steven Spielberg's new masterpiece.

"Ready Player One" takes place in the future in a virtual reality world called the Oasis. The creator dies and "he releases a video in which he challenges all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune" according to IMDB.

The movie is filled to the brim with 1980's video game and pop culture references. Some of the things you'll see if you watch closely: Famous cars of the past, 1960's Batmobile, the Delorean from Back to the Future, Mach 5 from Speed Racer, the famous "Kaneda’s bike" from the animated film "Akira", multiple super heroes and video game characters like Deadshot, the Joker, Chun-li, Sagat, Laura Croft and Harley Quinn. The teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their rivals the Battletoads make an appearance and yes, you even see King Kong!

Be prepaired for a sensory overload with so much going on you might have to see the movie a couple times to soak it all in. "Ready Player One" is also fairly long at 2 hours and 20 minutes. A great friend of mine saw it last night, was blown away, and is rushing to see it again!
