New Video! Sara Evans: Slow Me Down

1998 and I was lucky to see Sara Evans in an artist showcase in Nashville. An artist showcase is a gathering of radio and music program directors from radio stations all over the country, wined and dined and presented with up and coming talent. She sang a Capella and also with piano accompaniment and blew everyone in the room away.

After a few successes on the radio, she divorced her scumbag husband, and aspiring politician from Oregon, and left us for a while to figure things out with her kids. She actually left Dancing With The Stars during this time as the stress of the whole situation had maxed out.
