Mount Rainier is Running For Best National Park and Needs Your Vote!

National Geographic and American Express have teamed up to grant 2 million dollars to national parks around the country in serious need of renovations and preservation.

In all there are 20 parks running for the title of 'Best National Park' only the top 5 parks will receive it's share of the $2 Million. As of this writing Mount Rainier is in 10th place and desperately needs your votes! You are allowed to vote for 5 parks and vote everyday until July 5th.

1. Great Smoky Mountains National Park
2. Yellowstone National Park
3. Grand Canyon National Park
4. Yosemite National Park
5. Zion National Park
6. World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument
7. Everglades National Park
8. Mount Rushmore National Memorial
9. Denali National Park
10. Mount Rainier National Park
