The Second of Three Murder Suspects in a Moses Lake Shooting Is in Custody.

The Moses Lake Police Department reports that U.S. Marshals located and arrested 18-year old Matthew Valdez at about 2:30 Friday morning in Beaverton, Oregon. The three suspects are accused in the March 21st drive-by shooting in Moses Lake that killed a 14-year old and injured four others.

One of the suspects, a 14-year-old boy, was arrested on Tuesday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He was booked into the Chelan County Juvenile Center in Wenatchee.

The third wanted suspect, 20-year old Beltran-Rodriguez surrendered to authorities in Redding on Sunday. He was booked into jail pending extradition hearings.Detectives are heading to Redding to interview Beltran-Rodriguez in the coming days.

Beltran-Rodriguez, Valdez, and the juvenile suspect are all suspected members of the Norteños, a transnational criminal organization with ties to violent crime, drug trafficking, and firearms offenses across the United States and beyond.
