Say Hello to Lon Martin at ‘Untapped Blues & Brews Festival’ [PHOTOS]

Untapped Blues & Brews Festival is this weekend at Clover Island (May 9) and Benton Franklin Fairgrounds (May 10). Come hear the bands and check out the 30+ breweries that will include two hard ciders and seven wineries.

Today is the last day to save $5 by purchasing your ticket at local participating outlets.

For years I have been helping my friend Dave, owner/operator of Bluestopia, a division of Jazz Stream records, move and set-up recording equipment for the finest Blues festivals in our great Northwest.

I'll be helping helping operate the 24-channel Mackie digital recorder and ancillary equipment during the first three bands at Untapped at the Benton Franklin Fairgrounds in Kennewick.  The recording gear has enough buttons and knobs to make even an astronaut nervous.
