Local Woman Adds Squiggles to Check, Busted Making $100 Say $900!

A Moses Lake grocery store clerk was suspicious of squiggles on a check from Big Bend Community College. The clerk said she'd call the school to verify the check and the woman RAN AWAY LEAVING HER ID ON THE COUNTER!

The 25-year-old woman took a check belonging to someone else, changed the $100 to $900 and tried to make the name look like hers!

After the clerk picked up the phone to call the school the woman walked slowly to the door, then ran to her car, leaving the check and her ID with the clerk. It didn't take long to catch her.
