Local Students Hold Bovine Walkout After Cow Attacks Pasco Farmer
In the United States, the CDC estimates that about twenty-two people are killed by cows each year, and of those cow attacks, seventy-five percent were known to be deliberate attacks.
One third of the killings were committed by cows that had previously displayed aggressive behavior.
"We need stronger bovine legislation", said Jason Bazwald, a local high school junior. He added, "A bovine must be a cow because this is about cows."
Discussing the walk-out, high school sophomore Megan Ebblesworth said, "My parents told me about Mad Cow Disease. I'm not just looking to skip school or whatever. We will stop this or whatever."
Megan, Jason and a friend who refused to be identified (he goes by Buzzy), met at a popular burger restaurant to discuss the eradication of what they call "assault cows."
They shared a video of an actual bovine assault:
Sometimes I just have to express myself through sarcasm :-)
