Saturday, May 1st, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., get ready to dawn your Kentucky Derby attire! This will be a family fun event to benefit TROT. TROT is Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities. Family fun includes playing horseshoes, cornhole, the horse race dice game, and you can even rope a calf! OK, it's a dummy calf, but the kids will love the real cowboy on hand to show you the ropes. You'll also have a chance to win some fantastic gifts so make sure to get a raffle ticket. Maybe you're already prepared with a Kentucky Derby style hat, if not they will have some there that were made by the residents of Windsong Memory Care and Royal Colombian. To get your tickets to this family fun fundraiser, click HERE. The event will be held at 104 East 41st Place in Kennewick.

Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities features adaptive riding. They teach riding skills to people with physical and mental challenges. That helps improve muscle tone, strength, flexibility, and coordination.  They also feature classes called Path to Success. Those classes are designed to teach horsemanship fundamentals and incorporate relationship building, responsibility, social communication skills, and trust. Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities also features dog therapy with Cynthia and her specially trained dog Camry. For more about TROT, click HERE.
