Kennewick Man Tries Smashing Marked Cop Car With a Cinder Block

Around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, officers responded to a Malicious Mischief in progress. 18 year-old Jordan Blum was allegedly in an off-duty Franklin County Deputy’s driveway using a cinder block to try and break a window on a marked Franklin County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.

The deputy was informed of the crime and confronted Blum who allegedly took a bicycle from the deputy’s driveway and fled. The deputy managed to catch Blum a few blocks away and detained him until Kennewick officers arrived. Blum was arrested for Malicious Mischief Second Degree.
