Kennewick Build-A-Bear Closes Early After Crazy Promotion

I'm sure it looked good on paper for Build A Bear to celebrate their birthday with a huge promotion but now it looks like they've been over run with kids and parents.

The promotion was a Build-A-Bear for your age and I don't think Build-A-Bear could've foreseen the lines and the wait to be as long as they have been.

Across the nation starting at 11 am, Build-A-Bear was shutting stores down for public safety due to the massive lines and crowds.

Kennewick's Build-A-Bear stayed open while supplies lasted and then gave out $15 vouchers for those who couldn't get bears made today.

I'm glad no one got hurt but there is a lesson in there - always plan out what you are going to do and prepared for the unexpected.
