Kennewick Breaks Cold March 4th Record Set in 1896
Did it seem especially cold to you yesterday morning? Okay, no more dumb questions. Waaaay back in 1894, they decided to start keeping records on daily temps and the like. And for 123 years, the coldest it had ever been on March 4th was 14 degrees. Hell, 14 degrees sounds like a spring frolic after what we've been through! Yes, that record set in 1896 was broken in Kennewick yesterday morning with an official temp of 8 degrees.
