A Chicago man has filed a lawsuit against more than two dozen women who dubbed him "clingy," among other things, in a private Facebook dating group.

According to The New York Post, Nikko D’Ambrosio, 32, claims in legal docs that he discovered he was put on blast in a Facebook group after going on a date with a woman who allegedly wrote about him in the group.

D’Ambrosio claims the unnamed woman who posted about him in the group said he got "very clingy very fast," flaunted his money and "kept talking about how I don’t want to see his bad side, especially when he was on business calls."

The woman initially removed the post after she was contacted by his lawyers before re-posting it anonymously.

However, several women on Facebook also described similar encounters with him.

The group, "Are We Dating the Same Guy?," was launched to warn women about red flags they've encountered in the dating scene, with the goal to "protect, support and empower other women."

D’Ambrosio alleges he's the victim of "defamation, doxxing and privacy invasion."

"The defendants broadcast their outrageous, cruel and malicious lies about the plaintiff with knowledge that the statements were false or with reckless disregard as whether or not they were true,” the legal files state, according to the New York Post.

"[Their] wrongful conduct is so outrageous in character and so extreme in degree that it is beyond all possible bounds of decency and is to be regarded as atrocious and utterly intolerable in a civilized community," the papers continue.

D’Ambrosio is seeking $75 million in damages from 27 women, Facebook's parent company Meta and the moderators of the group.
