Ella Langley Unknowingly Put Aaron Watson in His Place

Aaron Watson has a hilarious story to tell about Ella Langley.

Watson has been in and around country music for more than 25 years. About 9 years into his career taking off, he had a daughter, who is now 16 years old.

Watson was a guest with me on Taste of Country Nights, and being that he is from Texas, I asked him if he is a fan of Langley's "Choosin' Texas."

That's when everything came off the hinges and got hilarious.

Watson said, "Oh, that's a great song. My daughter loves Ella, obviously, I mean, who doesn't, right?"

How Did Ella Langley Burn Aaron Watson?

It all started when Watson's daughter asked if Langley knows who he is.

Watson said, "'Heck yeah...everybody knows who your daddy is,'"

However, he admitted to us that deep down, he knew that Langley didn't know who he was, but he had to flex his status to his teenage daughter.

His daughter then said, "Hmm...well she doesn't follow you on Instagram."

"So, I made a funny video," he told us. "Being like, 'Hey Ella, my name is Aaron Watson and I'm a little country singer guy, if you could follow me that would make me a really cool dad.'"

Langley then responded in the best way possible.

"She literally didn't follow me," Watson said. "She just left me a comment and said, 'You seem like you're a lot.'"

But "Ella's somebody's daughter, she knew what she was doing," he explained.

"She was giving the dad a little tip, but not giving him full credit. She knew what she was doing...daughters, man."

Watson wants you and the rest of the world to know that he is a huge Langley fan, and he loves what she is doing right now.

He even joked that she and Miranda Lambert, co-writers on "Choosin' Texas,'" should have come to him for his blessing first, and to fact-check the lyrics.

He said Amarillo and Abilene are about four-and-a-half hours away from each other, so, "Where is homie going?"
