Pendelton, The Dalles, Meacham, LaGrande, Tollgate and other areas will also see sub-freezing temps.

Into the weekend, each of these areas will see the overnight lows drop at least 4-5 degrees or more. The Tri-Cities, Walla Walla and Yakima will see overnight lows by Friday and Saturday in the mid 20's.

Daytime temps will not get out of the 40s

Most of these regions will not see daytime temperatures get out of the mid-40s if that. These colder temps will persist at least through Sunday, according to the NWS.

There could be fog in many areas, which can freeze on roads, making for slick driving. And some of the higher elevations will also see some snow, especially south of Pendleton near LaGrande, Ellensburg, Meacham, and Tollgate.
