This is a great chance to get outside and enjoy the beauty of spring in Eastern Washington.

Mesa Farm Hosts Annual Fun Run Through Cherry Blossom Blooms

This is not your typical marathon road race. The course winds through the orchards at Rowley & Hawkins Fruit Farms, surrounded by rows and rows of cherry blossoms in full bloom. Think millions of blooms, soft spring colors, and wide-open countryside.

There are plenty of choices for all skill levels, including 1-mile, 5K, and 10K options. The shorter route is flat and family-friendly, while the longer mixes in some hills and takes runners past not just cherries, but apples, peaches, and apricot blooms.

This event feels more like a spring festival than a run. After you cross the finish line, there is a food court waiting with burgers, hot dogs, and farm-fresh treats.

A Local Tradition for Many Local Families

And yes, if you’re wondering, it is a timed race this year, adding a little extra motivation for those who want it.

The families behind the event are 7th-generation farmers, deeply rooted in the area and proud to share what might be the most beautiful time of year on their land.

Same-day check-in opens at 9:00 a.m., with races starting just after 10:15.
